Notarial acts come in the form of acknowledgements and jurats. In an acknowledgement, you confirm to the notary that you have personally signed a document of your own free will. In a jurat, the notary will place you under oath before you sign the document. If a document does not contain a certificate for either notarial act, the notary will ask you to choose which notarial act you would like performed. Please consult with the receiving agency (if any) prior to your notarization to ensure that you make the appropriate selection.

We are committed to the successful recording of your documents, so our goal is to conduct error-free notarizations. However, we will gladly redo the notarization at no further cost to you if a document is rejected due to a notarial error (for example, an incorrectly filled-out notarial certificate). Please note that this guarantee does not apply if the document is rejected due to an error by the signer.
